Since the long rosette could scratch the wall when turning it on.
There is also no need for a thread, as no water backpressure can be made – simply apply a little silicone to the back of the wall rosette before mounting and screw it, possibly the thread or the supply hose 1/3tel into the spout would be pure Optimal (inside diameter 37 mm).
